Peter was tired of bending over barrels, scooping out stale feed and dealing with rodents. One day, looking at a few old drums lying around, he thought, “There’s got to be a better way.”
With the help of friend Neil “Thumper” Cameron, that small thought turned into months of design, testing, and refining.
After countless prototypes, laser-cut tweaks, and real-world trials, the Mini Silo Conversion Pack was born – a practical, Aussie-made solution designed to save time, save feed, and save your back.

Hi there, we’re Peter and Rosemary Wemyss.
Peter grew up on farms and spent years working on a commercial chook farm, where he saw firsthand the challenges of animal care, pest control, and feed waste. He’s always been a problem-solver, spotting everyday challenges and building simple, lasting solutions.
We have a property in Mount Moriac, just outside Geelong and are the same team behind Edd’s Moveable Chook Sheds – known across Victoria for our practical, convenient chook trailers.
With both our chook sheds and mini silos, our goal is the same: to make life easier for Aussie farmers, backyard growers, and animal lovers. We’re hands-on, family-run, and always happy to have a yarn at a field day or show.
